Mobile pet groomer Google Business Profile checklist
If you run a grooming van, your profile has to tell Google and pet owners three things: where you go, what you do, and whether you still look active this month.
1. Make the service area obvious
Your website and profile copy should clearly describe the neighborhoods, cities, or service area you actually cover. Do not make Google guess.
2. List the real services pet owners search for
Bath and brush, nail trims, puppy grooming, de-shedding, apartment visits, senior dog visits, and mobile convenience should all be easy to spot in your copy.
3. Use current photos
Clean van photos, tidy before-and-after moments, and happy handoffs signal activity better than generic stock images.
4. Ask for reviews right after a smooth appointment
The best request timing is when the dog is clean, the owner is relieved, and the groomer has a short, simple text ready to send.
5. Post small local updates
Rainy-week schedule openings, summer shedding reminders, back-to-school cleanup, and holiday booking windows make the profile look alive without sounding desperate.
